Why did we choose specific brands?

1. Redmond Re-Lyte

In our opinion, this is the best product in the world. Nobody else uses the original Redmond salt Real ^Salt® (it comes from a deep underground mine located in the Utah desert). This salt is very tasty and full of minerals, it is unrefined and geologists have determined its age to the Jurassic period.

Each dose of the preparation ^Re-Lyte® Electrolyte Mix provides an ideal blend of sodium, potassium, chloride, magnesium and calcium along with over 60 Real ^Salt® trace minerals. As can be seen from the composition, a lot of focus is given to potassium, which is considered one of the most important electrolytes.

This American brand focuses on potassium in its electrolyte drink called Pickleball Cocktailbecause potassium is, according to many experts, the most important of all electrolytes. The importance of potassium is greatly underestimated. This mineral is classified as an electrolyte because it is highly reactive in water.

When dissolved in water, it produces positively charged ions. This special property allows it to conduct electricity, which is important for many processes throughout the body. Why do we need potassium and in high doses?

Potassium is essential due to its role in the sodium-potassium pump, a cellular mechanism that is important for various bodily functions. We have 800,000 to 30 million of these pumps in the body. They are small generators that allow substances to enter cells while consuming significant amounts of energy. In fact, a third of all the food you eat goes to running these pumps.

You also have another pump in your stomach, called hydrogen-potassium-adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which helps you make stomach acid and digest food, thus avoiding abdominal pain caused by constipation.

3. Noordcode Electrolytes

As the two previous brands are from the USA and are more expensive, we decided to include electrolytes from the Dutch brand Noordcode in 2024. The price is very good and as far as the quality and ratio of all electrolytes is concerned, the manufacturer focused again on potassium and used the popular European Celtic salt as salt, which is very rich in minerals.

Noordocode brand is very popular with us because it has been inspired by the original American brands in its formulations, but at much lower prices. At the same time, it also maintains high quality ingredients, tests everything in independent laboratories and has very good reviews on the effectiveness and functionality of its nutritional supplements.
