Sodium to potassium ratio
The body uses sodium and potassium together to maintain the amount of water inside and outside the cells. There is no absolute "ideal" sodium/potassium ratio that applies to everyone, but there are general recommendations from health organisations.
According to most recommendations, the ideal ratio of sodium to potassium is somewhere between 1:1 and 1:2. You should get about 1 to 2 grams of potassium for every gram of sodium.
NoordCode favours a sodium/potassium ratio of 5:2. This assumes that you also get potassium through foods such as fruit, potatoes, meat, avocados and leafy greens. So your total sodium:potassium intake will still be approximately 1:2.

High quality ingredients
The mixture contains Celtic sea salt as a source of sodium. In addition to sodium, this salt also contains many other trace minerals that give it its characteristic colour and rich taste. Celtic sea salt is a natural source of sodium that has not been chemically processed.
