HOW TO USE THE SUNSCREEN STICK RAW ELEMENTS?
Apply evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure - for reliable protection and even distribution. The mineral filter with zinc oxide protects immediately, but let it "settle" on the skin so it doesn't rub off with a towel or clothes.
Do I have to wait? Not necessarily, but recommended. Chemical filters need about 20 minutes to take effect. The mineral filter works instantly, but manufacturers recommend 15 minutes for ideal application - mainly due to standards (e.g. FDA in the USA) and practical use.
Tip: Apply a sufficient amount to clean, dry skin - ideally at home or in the shade. Gently rub until completely absorbed. The light white film is natural and shows where the skin is already protected.
Repeat every 2 hours or after swimming, sweating and towel drying - even though the bar is waterproof for up to 80 minutes. Don't forget the risk areas such as the nose, cheekbones, lips or ears.
In winter? Definitely yes. Snow reflects up to 80% of UV rays, so SPF protection is also important in the mountains, not just in summer.

In keeping with company policy, Raw Elements sunscreen ingredients are individually selected and sourced, are certified Non-GMO, NPA Natural or USDA/NOP Organic, and are all certified Cruelty Free.
All finished tanning products carry the NPA Certified Natural label. They have undergone third-party testing to ensure there are no nano-sized particles in the sunscreen. The zinc oxide they use is also USP quality, uncoated and meets international Non Nano standards.
Raw Elements is committed to using the most sustainable options available, including PCR resins, recyclable materials, compostable cardboard, bio-based materials and infinitely recyclable aluminum packaging.
This policy, and the challenge to themselves, has led to the creation of a range of plastic-free products. Their best-selling SPF 30 face and body cream and SPF 30 tinted daily moisturizer are available in aluminum cans that are completely plastic and waste free.
The aluminium metal they use is infinitely recyclable, and these cans are designed to be reusable. Not only are they completely recyclable, but the empty cans have many other uses, such as storing headphones, jewellery or sea shells.
The company even produces can lids without standard HDPE liners, taking the eco-friendly approach one step further.

Non Nano Zinc Oxide
The zinc oxide used by Raw Elements is documented by the supplier as Non Nano. In addition, Raw Elements USA has their finished sunscreen independently tested in a lab using a laser.
This independent testing verifies that sunscreens have a 250 nanometer limit, confirming that they contain only Non Nano Zinc Oxide.
Reef safe / reef friendly
As pioneers of this movement in sunscreen, Raw Elements USA follows the scientific guidance of Dr. Craig Downs and Haereticus Environmental Laboratory.
They do not use any chemical sunscreen UV filters, preservatives, fragrances or nanoparticles known to harm corals and marine animals.
As an active ingredient they use only non-nano zinc oxide, which has no effect on corals and marine animals.
