Fish oil for children - Tutti Frutti
A high quality food supplement to adjust the balance of polyphenols and omega acids in the body. It is rich in olive polyphenols, fatty acid omega-3 and vitamin D3.
BalanceOil Tutti fruti by Zinzino has no fishy aftertaste, so it will be tasty even for really young children. This tibia oil safely regulates and maintains EPA and DHA levels as well as the balanced ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 acids in your body, while protecting your cells from oxidation. It is rich in polyphenols, omega-3 fatty acid and vitamin D3. It is based on a blend of oils from wild small fish and a special olive variety that is extremely rich in polyphenols.
An imbalance between omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids is linked to a number of health problems. The correct ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 is particularly important during pregnancy and lactation, as the demands on a baby's developing brain and nervous system require a higher intake of omega-6 and omega-3, of course in a balanced ratio.
Nowadays, the nutritional value of food is declining and our current diet contains up to 15 times the prevalence of pro-inflammatory omega 6 from grains and some vegetable oils. The general recommendation is that the ratio of omega-6:omega-3 fatty acids in the diet should be less than 5:1. Ideally, however, 3:1. But this is really hard to achieve nowadays, even with a healthy and varied diet. Therefore, it is advisable to supplement to balance the omega 3 ratio.

Key ingredients
Unique blend of fish oils - the fish oil used in BalanceOil Tutti Frutti is selectively sourced 20/10 EPA/DHA grade fish oil (versus the industry standard of 18/12) with a unique profile of essential fatty acids both Omega-3 (EPA, DHA, DPA) and Omega-7 (POA, VA). The fish oils used come from short-lived, wild, small pelagic fish. Mostly anchovies, but sardines and mackerel are also used. All of Zinzino's oils come from fisheries certified by Friend of the Sea for sustainable fishing in unpolluted waters, which is ecologically necessary and essential when it comes to obtaining high quality oil free of heavy metals, PCBs and other toxins.
The fish is carefully steamed (no chemicals or solvents are used at any stage of the process) and then the whole fish is pressed to extract the oil (approximately 3-5% of the fish). As with all fish oils, the oil must be refined through a four-step process. This process is carried out by the manufacturer, LYSI in Iceland, and removes flavours, odours and any impurities from the environment that might otherwise spoil the quality of the product. Zinzino fish oil therefore meets all the requirements of EFSA, FDA and other strict regulations that are found around the world. LYSI meets all the quality requirements set by the regulations and is GMP certified for food and pharmaceutical products. BalanceOil Tutti Frutti products are therefore also GMP certified.
Spanish extra virgin olive oil - BalanceOil Tutti Frutti is made from extra virgin olive oil from Spanish Picual olives, which is chosen because it is rich in omega-9 and has a very high content of antioxidants. The olives are pre-harvest quality and the process removes the pits and cold presses only the fruit, producing an extra virgin oil rich in omega-9 (oleic acid) with a very high content of antioxidants called polyphenols (over 750 mg/kg). Polyphenols protect not only the BalanceOil Tutti Frutti oil in the bottle, but above all your cells.
Phytonutrient profile of extra virgin olive oil
- Olive Polyphenols 750 mg/kg
- Hydroxytyrosol & Tyrosol 330 mg/kg
- Oleocanthal + Oleacein 490 mg/kg
- Oleuropein 64 mg/kg
- Squalene 4230 mg/kg
- Vitamin E 300 mg/kg
- Maslinic acid 100 mg/kg
Natural tocopherols - mixed tocopherols are antioxidants commonly used in dietary supplements. The natural tocopherols used are produced from distillates of highly refined oil from non GMO soybeans. These distillates undergo further refining and therefore contain no soy protein. Thanks to this, they do not cause any allergic reactions. The typical composition is: alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-tocopherols.
Pure vitamin D3 - natural vitamin D3 made from lanolin, a naturally occurring fat found in sheep's wool. Vitamin D3 is produced by dissolving the vitamin D3 precursor from lanolin. It is then chemically treated and activated by ultraviolet (UV) radiation. This chemical process is comparable to the process that occurs in human skin when vitamin D3 is produced by sunlight.

Zinzino is a Norwegian company that has been on the market since 2005. In 2012, Zinzino acquired a 6% stake in the Norwegian company BioActive Foods AS and obtained the exclusive right to market its products and concepts. This was the beginning of a new era and Zinzino began to focus on health and body care. The concept of Zinzino Balance was born. In 2014, Zinzino acquired an 85% stake in Faun Pharma AS, a Norwegian company with a fully equipped, modern manufacturing facility and valuable experience in the development of health products, dietary supplements and cosmetics. It was a brand new facility where Zinzino began to research, develop and manufacture new products - efficiently and with high quality. In the same year, Zinzino bought out BioActive Foods and became the sole owner with a 100% stake. The deal has enabled us to better manage the development and growth of the Zinzino Balance concept.
Zinzino provides best-in-class, state-of-the-art and customized nutritional supplements as well as skin care products. The name of the brand was created during brainstorming when the company was founded. The founders liked that the word "Zinzino" doesn't carry any meaning yet, so the company itself can supply it. They specialize mainly in dietary supplements with omega-3 (EPA and DHA) fatty acids. They are based on the findings of a new scientific discipline - pharmaconutritional nutrition, which, unlike the current way of dealing with health problems, does not just suppress symptoms, but seeks to support the body's natural protective, defensive and regenerative processes. Their products are backed by a team of scientific experts and test-backed results. This is what makes this brand unique - before taking the supplements you can do the so-called "supplementation". Balance test to find out what ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 you have in your cells.
Why is a balanced ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 so important?
Omega-3 long-chain fatty acids is the collective name for a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids (EPA, DHA). Omega-3 fatty acids cannot be produced by the human body on its own, so they must be supplied as part of the diet. However, supplementing essential omega 3 (EPA, DHA) in the right ratio - omega 6 : omega 3 (3:1) is almost impossible nowadays due to the lack of fresh fatty fish intake and the increasing consumption of industrially processed foods. For this reason, 95% of Europeans fail to get to a 3:1 ratio of omega3 to omega6 with diet alone. To balance this imbalance, it is advisable to supplement with Omega 3.
An imbalance of omega 6 and omega 3 affects the body and mind. Their balanced ratio is important for many body processes and functions. From brain function to muscle function, protection from oxidative stress to normal blood pressure and much more. We do get omega 3 from fish, but unfortunately not from the ones you buy in the store. The fish themselves get their Omega 3 from eating seaweed and most fish on the market, such as salmon, come from closed farms where they are fed compound feed. Therefore, they don't have any Omega 3 in their body.
Composition of the highest quality
Zinzino's products are based on a blend of fish oil (from whole, unprocessed, mainly wild, short-lived species of small fish such as anchovies and sardines), rich in omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) and extra virgin olive oil from a special Spanish variety of Picual, which is highly rich in polyphenols and other beneficial substances. However, vegans can also choose from their products - the range also includes BalanceOil+ made from olive oil and seaweed.
The industry that manufactures dietary supplements with Omega 3 protects these fatty acids by artificially adding vitamin E as a preservative. However, it has been shown that vitamin E does not sufficiently prevent the oxidation of Omega 3 fatty acids during absorption, but can become a pro-oxidant under certain circumstances, rendering these supplements non-functional or even potentially harmful to the body! Therefore, we recommend that every consumer of Omega 3 dietary supplements verify their effectiveness with the BalanceTest. If the test shows a deficiency of Omega-3 fatty acids in cell membranes, it is up to everyone to consider whether it makes sense to consume such a dysfunctional dietary supplement.
