Vilmas Swedish Organic
Vilmas was founded in 2001 by two bakers in Stockholm. They started selling handmade soft bread with a special character - for example, bread with figs and almonds, bread with sheep's cheese and basil. In 2004, they also started selling crackers (knäckebröd), which quickly took the lead in sales.
Since 2010 they have been baking crackers in Fjällberget near Hofors in Gästrikland, close to the border with Dalarna. All VILMAS products are made in small quantities from organic wholemeal oat and rye flour. The result is crispy, high-fibre crackers that are good for your body and the environment.
VILMAS crackers will never be the same from batch to batch because ebio products vary from season to season and weather to weather. We believe that this is part of living in harmony with nature.

About the brand
The brand's philosophy is that food should be healthy and tasty, good and sustainable for the body and the environment. That's why Vilmas crackers are baked with local organic whole grain cereals, their own sourdough starter and Swedish organic butter.
The goal of the brand is to contribute meaningfully to sustainable development, not to collect symbols on its packaging. Most of their products are labeled organic and all products are baked with organic ingredients.
All cereals used are certified gluten-free. Finished products are regularly tested for the presence of gluten. Many so-called gluten-free biscuits and crispbreads are often poor imitations of the real commodity, using cheap fillers and various additives.
Instead, Fjällbergets Bageri uses natural ingredients rich in protein and fibre, such as oats and pumpkin seeds. The result is a tasty gluten-free crusty bread.
