The Trafo brand is owned by the FZ ORGANIC FOOD company, founded by the Andringafamily, which has been selling cheese since the 1960s.
Frans Andringa, founder FZ Organic Foodin 1983, focused on organic products and gradually expanded the range to include cheese, jams, chips and other organic foods. Today the business is run by his sons Folmer and Bjorn Andringa. It is a third generation family business with a long tradition.

The company uses modern technologies such as drying wall and vacuum baking, and implements an advanced pulsed electric field (PEF) production process.
