The amount of iodine you need daily depends on your age. The average recommended daily amount is given below in micrograms (mcg).2

Symptoms of iodine deficiency
Iodine deficiency can only be diagnosed by urine tests. Symptoms of low iodine levels are mainly detected through thyroid symptoms such as:

Why are the drops colorless?
In SCHILDQUELL we use iodine in the form of potassium iodide - it is naturally colourless.
Is it suitable during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding?
Yes, SCHILDQUELL can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
When should the product not be used?
If you have a thyroid disorder (e.g. hyperthyroidism), you should avoid SCHILDQUELL if necessary.
However, ask your doctor or alternative health care provider beforehand if the medicine is suitable for you.

Why are some effects of Naturtreu products not explained?
The manufacturer will provide further information and explain the studies they have analysed as part of the development of their products.
However, there is the following problem: Unfortunately, for legal reasons, they cannot disclose the exact effects of herbal ingredients because dietary supplements are legally classified as food.
One reason for this is that the pharmaceutical lobby is trying very hard not to consider alternatives to chemical medicines. For this, the manufacturer apologizes, and asks you to do your own research.
Where do the raw materials for Naturtreu products come from?

The products have a shelf life of 1.5 to 2 years after manufacture. We only send products with sufficient expiry date for consumption.
Does Naturtreu use additives or fillers?
They do not use any chemical superplasticisers, unwanted additives, flavourings or colourings.
For some products you will find "rice flour" in the ingredients. This is always necessary to prevent the ingredients from sticking together during filling. Rice flour can also help to fill the capsules completely to prevent them from opening unintentionally when moving. Rice flour is ground rice and does not cause any side effects or allergies.
Are all Naturtreu products vegan?
All products are completely vegan and manufactured without animal testing.
Are all ingredients natural?
Naturtreu only uses ingredients or compounds of ingredients that are also found in nature. They ensure high quality ingredients without genetic engineering.
