What is kosher or flake salt?
Recently, the term "kosher" has been used somewhat confusingly, as there are two explanations of "kosher salt". While all RealSalt™ products are "kosher" certified by the Orthodox Union (OU) and therefore approved as suitable for the Jewish community, "Kosher Salt" represents salt whose crystals are slightly larger in size.

Kosher salt is also often called flake salt because of the shape of the crystals, which can be crushed nicely in the hand. Real salt and the composition of human blood
Natural crystal salt like Redmond's is much more than just sodium chloride: it consists of not just two, but more than 60 trace elements. These are the very natural elements that make up our bodies, and from which our life in the primeval ocean once arose. Approximately 0.9% sodium chloride is found in human blood and the chemical composition of seawater is similar to that of human blood plasma in terms of salt content.
Salt water is also the natural environment in which the human fetus develops. It is really surprising that the blood still has the same concentration of water and salt solution, or brine, as the water in the ocean had when life left the sea. Different types of crystal sizes
