Redmond 's Re-Lyte® Immunity Pineapple & Orange flavour is a pure, refreshing immunity support blend packed with vitamins, herbs and minerals that have been deliberately selected to support your body's natural immune response - without any unhealthy ingredients.

It contains a combination of Vitamins C, D, B12, Zinc, Ginger Root, Turmeric, Elderberry and Electrolytes (Re-Lyte's signature Electrolyte Mix) that you can easily add to your water every day to strengthen your body and feel simply fabulous.

Main benefits

More electrolytes to support immunity - because the base of this product is Redmond's Re-Lyte® electrolyte blend, Re-Lyte® Immunity contains more immune-boosting electrolytes than many other blends. The blend contains 490 mg of sodium, 330 mg of potassium and 770 mg of chloride.

No unhealthy sweeteners - some immune support mixes contain sugar, fructose, sucralose or other unhealthy sweeteners that do not benefit the immune system. Re-Lyte® Immunity is lightly sweetened with zero-calorie stevia leaf extract, which does not cause blood sugar spikes (which can interfere with optimal immune system function).

No artificial ingredients or unnecessary additives - Re-Lyte® Immunity contains none of the unhealthy additives or fillers found in other immune blends, such as preservatives, artificial flavors and anti-caking agents.

What is the difference between Re-Lyte products?

The difference between Re-Lyte Hydration, Immunity, Pre-Workout, and Boost lies in the additional nutrients and herbs that support healthy immunity, exercise endurance, and daily energy:

  • Re-Lyte Hydration (formerly known as Re-Lyte Electrolyte Mix) focuses on replenishing electrolytes in a clean and healthy way without artificial additives or added sugar. It contains essential electrolytes, including sodium from unrefined ancient sea salt Real Salt, making it an excellent choice for maintaining electrolyte levels.
  • Re-Lyte Immunity is designed to provide daily immune support. In addition to essential electrolytes, it includes herbs and nutrients such as vitamins C, D, and B12, zinc, ginger root, turmeric root, and elderberries to support a healthy immune response.
  • Re-Lyte Pre-Workout is formulated to enhance energy and endurance during exercise. Along with essential electrolytes, it includes ingredients like caffeine from green tea extract, vegan BCAAs, beta-alanine, taurine, ginseng root, and maca root to boost energy levels and support healthy muscles.
  • Re-Lyte Boost offers an energy boost without jitters for any time of day, not just during exercise. It contains 120 mg of caffeine per serving along with herbal boosters such as ginseng, maca root, ashwagandha, Rhodiola rosea, and beetroot extract. It also reinforces B vitamins known for supporting healthy energy levels.

Each variant of Re-Lyte is intended for different needs, whether it's maintaining electrolyte levels, boosting immunity, enhancing exercise performance, or providing an energy boost for daily activities. Users can combine these products according to their individual needs.

Should I take Re-Lyte capsules or Re-Lyte powders?

Capsules and powders each have their own benefits depending on your preferences and lifestyle.

Our Re-Lyte range includes both capsule and powder form products, and many of our customers are curious about which option they should choose. If you're still unsure which one is right for you, here are a few factors to consider.

Benefits of Powders

The first question you need to ask yourself is: How do I feel about swallowing tablets? About 40% of people in the USA have trouble swallowing tablets. If you're one of them, powders will be an easier way to get the good stuff into your body.

Capsules also take longer to absorb than powders. That means you'll have to wait longer for the effects to kick in. If you want to feel the effects of the Re-Lyte product faster, our Re-Lyte blends could be the choice for you.

Your medical history is also a factor. People who have had gastric bypass surgery or have other conditions that complicate digestion may not be able to fully break down capsules.

Benefits of Capsules

If these factors aren't an issue for you, then capsules have several serious advantages - such as the fact that capsules are more portable and easier to take than powders. You can pop them into your purse or pocket and easily swallow them anywhere (if you have a few sips of water handy).

People with a picky palate or sensitivity to supplement tastes will also appreciate that capsules are tasteless.

You Can Combine Them

Of course, you don't have to choose just one. Many of our customers use both types in different situations. For example, you might prefer capsules when traveling and powders at home. Or you might take powders before your morning HIIT workout and capsules before a five-mile run. There are many ways to combine our Re-Lyte products. Do what works best for your lifestyle.

Why is calcium included in Re-Lyte products?

Calcium is an essential electrolyte that supports healthy muscle function, nerve function, blood clotting, hormonal balance, and more.

All Re-Lyte products except Unflavored Re-Lyte Hydration and Re-Lyte Hydration Support Caps contain the essential electrolyte calcium.

Calcium serves several important functions for your body. It helps remineralize bones, supports muscle contraction, participates in nerve impulse transmission, plays a role in blood clotting, aids in hormone secretion, and even plays a role in immune functions.

Research shows that calcium signals help regulate the formation of two important immune cells. These immune cells are responsible for initiating attacks on invading organisms that enter the body and for stopping the attack when the threat decreases. This helps maintain balance in the immune system and prevents overly active, potentially harmful immune responses.

Calcium is one of several electrolytes lost through sweat, so it's important to regularly replenish it if you're active. If you don't and its levels drop, you may experience muscle cramps, fatigue, dry skin, brittle nails, and irritability.

Part of the calcium in Re-Lyte preparation naturally occurs in our unrefined ancient sea salt Real Salt. However, we also add calcium lactate or calcium carbonate.

Calcium carbonate is a mined mineral, but the calcium carbonate we use is pharmaceutical grade and purified, meaning it doesn't come directly from rock (which is a misconception we've heard).

Calcium lactate is slightly more biologically available than calcium carbonate, but hydration with Re-Lyte isn't the same as taking calcium carbonate alone.

When Re-Lyte is dissolved, calcium carbonate interacts with citric acid (in flavored Re-Lyte) to form calcium citrate, which is a form of calcium known to be most biologically available and easily acted upon by the stomach.

Both types of calcium come from suppliers who adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines, ensuring its identity, strength, quality, and purity.

What type of calcium do you use in Re-Lyte products?

Most Re-Lyte products contain calcium lactate or calcium carbonate.

Calcium carbonate is a mined mineral, but the calcium carbonate we use is pharmaceutical grade and purified, meaning it does not come directly from rock (a misconception circulating on the internet).

Both calcium lactate and calcium carbonate come from sources that adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines to ensure their identity, strength, quality, and purity.

Why do we use two different types of calcium?

The original recipe for Re-Lyte Electrolyte Mix was made from calcium lactate, which adds a few calories per serving and is less favorable for fasting individuals.

The properties of calcium lactate also caused the powder to clump when mixed with water. This was a significant issue for many customers, so we are gradually transitioning our entire Re-Lyte line to calcium carbonate, which mixes better and contains no calories.

Why is calcium carbonate used in the new Re-Lyte products?

Calcium carbonate facilitates mixing in Re-Lyte products and makes Re-Lyte Hydration calorie-free. Because it's combined with citric acid and other ingredients, taking calcium carbonate in Re-Lyte is not the same as taking it alone.

We believe the original formulations of all our Re-Lyte products are pretty great, and we know many of our customers agree. But as any Re-Lyte fan knows, our original Re-Lyte recipes can be a bit challenging to mix.

In the spirit of continuous improvement, we set out to make mixing our Re-Lyte line easier without sacrificing our commitment to quality. Shortly after starting our experimentation, we found that by changing the type of calcium in Re-Lyte, it mixes better, and Re-Lyte Hydration (formerly Re-Lyte Electrolyte Mix) is calorie-free for our calorie-conscious community – a win for everyone!

The new calcium we use is calcium carbonate. This form of calcium is one of the most common in dietary supplements. It has a high elemental calcium content and is added to many foods today (and occurs naturally in some).

We've heard some concerns about the quality, bioavailability, and side effects of calcium carbonate, so we wanted to share some information that might put your mind at ease.

Quality of the calcium carbonate used

We use pharmaceutical-grade calcium carbonate. It is a mined mineral, but pharmaceutical grade and purified, meaning it does not come directly from rock (a misconception we've heard).

The calcium carbonate we use costs us no less than calcium lactate, which we used previously. Cost was never a motivating factor in this change. We did it to provide our customers with the best Re-Lyte experience possible.

Are there any side effects?

Calcium carbonate is alkaline when taken alone and can neutralize stomach acid (it's even used in popular antacids like Tums and Alka Seltzer). These properties lead to concerns that it may cause mild digestive issues and should only be taken with food.

However, hydrating with Re-Lyte is not like taking calcium carbonate alone. Re-Lyte contains additional electrolytes and ingredients like citric acid, which counteract the alkalinity of calcium carbonate before it reaches the stomach.

When Re-Lyte is dissolved, calcium carbonate interacts with citric acid to form calcium citrate, which is a form of calcium known to be easier on the stomach.

Biological availability of the calcium carbonate used

There are many factors that affect biological availability - age, body chemistry, stomach pH, vitamin D levels, hormone levels, and many other things.

We haven't conducted our own studies and can't promise anything about the calcium's biological availability in Re-Lyte products. We can say that research shows calcium carbonate is bioavailable, although it may be slightly less bioavailable than some other forms of calcium.

However, it's important to consider what we mentioned earlier. When Re-Lyte is dissolved, calcium carbonate interacts with citric acid to form calcium citrate. Therefore, it makes more sense to consider the biological availability of calcium citrate, which is known as one of the (if not the most) biologically available forms of calcium.

Research indicates that calcium citrate is well absorbed on an empty stomach or with food.

Enhanced experience with Re-Lyte

We're excited about the benefits of this change and hope you'll agree! We've already made the transition to calcium carbonate in Re-Lyte Hydration (formerly Re-Lyte Electrolyte Mix), and this summer, we'll also transition Re-Lyte Immunity.

Later this year, we'll also change the calcium content in Re-Lyte Pre-Workout and Re-Lyte Boost. If you're concerned about calcium carbonate in Re-Lyte, we have several calcium-free options for you to try - Unflavored Re-Lyte and Re-Lyte Hydration Support Caps.

Why is potassium added to Re-Lyte?

Potassium is an important electrolyte that supports healthy nerve, muscle, and heart function.

We include potassium in Re-Lyte products because it's an essential electrolyte that serves several very important functions for your body.

  • It supports nerve function, aids in muscle contractions, and helps maintain a healthy heart rhythm.

Potassium is one of several electrolytes lost through sweating, so it's important to regularly replenish it if you're active. If you don't, and your potassium levels drop too low, you may experience symptoms such as muscle cramps, weakness, abnormal heart rhythms, and kidney issues.

Potassium as a mineral is naturally present in Re-Lyte products in the unrefined, ancient sea salt Real Salt. But the manufacturer also adds a form of potassium called potassium citrate.

There are several important benefits of potassium citrate compared to other forms of potassium. For example, it's one of the most easily absorbable forms of potassium, rapidly metabolized in the body.

The potassium citrate currently used in Re-Lyte products is manufactured in accordance with strict CGMPs, ensuring its identity, strength, quality, and purity.

Why is there sodium in Re-Lyte?

Sodium helps keep your cells properly hydrated and supports healthy nerve and muscle function.

All Re-Lyte products contain the important electrolyte sodium, which serves several very important functions for your body.

  • It helps maintain a balanced amount of water inside and outside your cells.
  • It also supports healthy nerve and muscle function.

Sodium is an electrolyte that you lose the most through sweating, so it's important to replenish it regularly, especially if you're active. Failure to do so may lead to symptoms such as headaches, muscle cramps, nausea, diarrhea, and confusion. Extremely low sodium levels could even cause serious conditions such as coma and death.

Nearly all the sodium in Re-Lyte products comes from unrefined, ancient sea salt Real Salt (with a little also coming from coconut water powder).

We might be a bit (or a lot) biased, but we believe Redmond Real Salt is the healthiest source of sodium.

  • It's pure and unprocessed.
  • It's mined in Utah.
  • And it contains over 60 healthy trace minerals that can support your hydration and overall health.

What is the "right" sodium-potassium ratio for electrolytes?

There isn't one "right" ratio for everyone because what each person needs depends on many factors, and individual needs vary.

Lately, we've received many inquiries about the sodium-potassium ratio in Re-Lyte and whether it "should" contain more sodium or much more potassium. Electrolyte drinks and powders on the market vary greatly. We know of formulations ranging from 5:1 sodium to potassium to 100:1 potassium to sodium.

Various reasons can be truly confusing, and what's best for a particular individual depends on many factors. You and your doctor know best what's suitable for you, and sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to figure it out.

Nevertheless, here's a summary of our opinion:

  • Many unprocessed foods contain potassium. Most of the required potassium can be obtained from natural diets, but many people, if not most, need a little more.
  • If you don't eat a standard American diet (SAD), you probably need more sodium because you're not consuming processed foods with high salt content.
  • On average, about 93% of ingested sodium is excreted in urine (this value may be higher or lower depending on various factors).
  • The sodium-potassium ratio in sweat varies depending on the individual, level of physical fitness, environment, exercise intensity, activity level, and other factors. Articles, research, and studies suggest that the sodium-potassium ratio in sweat can range from 3:1 to 15:1 (sodium to potassium).
  • THUS, electrolytes are not just for athletes. Our bodies constantly process them and need replenishing, whether we're exercising purposefully or living a busy life full of work, errands, kids, gardening, etc.
  • A blend of 800 mg sodium and 400 mg potassium in Re-Lyte is ideal (yes, we're biased!) both for exercise and daily hydration because it provides enough sodium to replace what you naturally lose, whether during intense workouts or everyday activities, and additional potassium to complement your already healthy diet.
  • Every body is different, and sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to find what works best for you. We wish it were easier, but we're glad there are plenty of options for everyone to find what suits them best.

Why is there chloride in Re-Lyte?

Chlorides help keep cells hydrated and assist in maintaining a healthy blood volume and blood pressure levels.

All Re-Lyte products contain the important electrolyte chloride, which serves several very important functions for your body.

  • Similar to sodium, chloride helps maintain a balanced amount of water inside and outside your cells.
  • It also helps maintain blood volume and blood pressure at the right level.
  • And it keeps the fluids' pH in your body healthy.

After sodium, chloride is the second most common electrolyte lost through sweating, so it's important to replenish it regularly, especially if you're active. Failure to do so may lead to symptoms such as weakness, fatigue, difficulty breathing, diarrhea, or vomiting.

Nearly all the chlorides in Re-Lyte products come from our unrefined, ancient sea salt Real Salt (with a little also coming from coconut water powder).

We might be a bit (or a lot) biased, but we believe Redmond Real Salt is the healthiest source of chlorides.

  • It's pure and unprocessed.
  • It's mined in Utah.
  • And it contains over 60 healthy trace minerals that can support your hydration and overall health.

Why is there magnesium in Re-Lyte?

Magnesium is an important electrolyte that supports muscle function, nerve function, and provides energy to your cells.

We include magnesium in Re-Lyte products because it's an important electrolyte that serves several very important functions for your body.

  • It helps provide energy to your cells, supports muscle contraction and relaxation, and supports proper neurological function.

Magnesium is one of several electrolytes lost through sweating, so it's important to replenish it regularly, especially if you're active. Failure to do so, and if your levels drop, you may experience symptoms such as fatigue, muscle cramps, muscle weakness, high blood pressure, heart arrhythmias, anxiety, and depression.

Some magnesium in our Re-Lyte products occurs naturally in our unrefined, ancient sea salt Real Salt. But we also add a mix of magnesium malate and magnesium glycinate in a 50/50 ratio. These forms of magnesium have several important advantages over other forms of magnesium.

  • Magnesium glycinate contains an amino acid (building block for proteins) called glycine, which supports brain health, reduces stress, and anxiety.
  • Magnesium malate helps maintain blood sugar levels in balance. Additionally, it contains malic acid, an amino acid that supports muscle strength and regeneration to cope with strenuous exercise.

Both of these types of magnesium are gentler on your stomach and more easily absorbed by your body. The magnesium we currently use is sourced both domestically and internationally and is manufactured in accordance with strict Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) guidelines to ensure its identity, strength, quality, and purity.

Why is citric acid included in Re-Lyte products?

Citric acid is a healthy natural preservative. It also has a pleasant, tangy taste and helps your body absorb minerals better.

We've included citric acid in many of our Re-Lyte products because it's one of the best natural preservatives. It also has a tangy taste that gives Re-Lyte something special.

In addition to these two practical benefits, citric acid has an interesting health benefit (especially when it comes to Re-Lyte) - it helps your body absorb minerals better. Research shows that citric acid improves the ability of the intestines to absorb calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc.

As you may know, most of our Re-Lyte products are a healthy source of calcium and magnesium, among other important minerals. And powdered coconut water in many of our Re-Lyte products also contains trace amounts of phosphorus and zinc. Citric acid in Re-Lyte can help you get more nutrients from every sip.

Like all ingredients in Redmond Life products, we source citric acid only from high-quality natural sources.

The citric acid we use comes from fermented cassava and is certified kosher, halal, and Non-GMO Project Verified. After the fermentation process, it is purified to remove all molds and then tested for possible contaminants, including yeasts and molds. More information can be found here.

Where does the citric acid in Re-Lyte products come from?

We use the same citric acid in flavored Re-Lyte blends. It comes from fermented cassava and is certified kosher, halal, and Non-GMO Project Verified.

Our supplier ferments citric acid using a safe strain of aspergillus niger, a type of mold. (Don't be alarmed by the word "mold," there are many beneficial types that give us penicillin, ripening cheese, bread, soy sauce, and more).

Unlike cassava fermentation done by some farmers, our supplier's fermentation takes place in a production tank that controls the process and prevents unwanted mold growth.

After the citric acid is created, it undergoes purification to remove all molds, and then it is tested for possible contaminants, including yeasts and molds. Part of the quality control testing for Re-Lyte products includes additional testing for contaminants (including molds) after mixing all ingredients to ensure your products are safe.

Why is Re-Lyte powder coconut water included in products?

Coconut water powder is a great source of electrolytes and antioxidants.

We have included coconut water powder in many of our Re-Lyte products because it is a healthy and effective natural hydration aid.

It contains electrolytes magnesium, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus. And it is a great source of antioxidants, meaning it can support your body in combating oxidative stress, free radicals, and inflammation.

It's clear that coconut water powder has many benefits, but if you are looking for a version without coconut water powder due to allergy or other reasons, we have a solution for you. Check out our Unflavored Re-Lyte or Re-Lyte Hydration Support Caps.

As you likely know, coconut palms thrive in tropical climates, so our coconut water powder typically comes from abroad. However, like all ingredients in our dietary supplements, it is manufactured according to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines, ensuring its identity, strength, quality, and purity.

What common allergens are contained in Re-Lyte products?

Food allergies are quite common nowadays, so we have endeavored to create Re-Lyte variants that would be accessible to as many people as possible.

When creating Re-Lyte, we wanted a recipe that would taste great, contain essential nutrients for hydration, and include clean ingredients. With the various needs of our customers in mind, we devised different formulations in the hope of helping as many people as possible.

We understand that we cannot create something perfect for everyone, and if you have food allergies, some types of Re-Lyte may not be suitable for you.

Our flavored Re-Lyte varieties contain dehydrated fruit, so if you have a fruit allergy, check the dietary supplement information before purchasing to ensure that the Re-Lyte flavor you've chosen does not contain fruit you are allergic to.

All Re-Lyte varieties, except Unflavored Re-Lyte and Hydration Support Caps, also contain non-GMO coconut water powder because it is a high-quality natural source of electrolytes.

Flavored Re-Lyte varieties contain several additional natural ingredients because dehydrating fruit and converting it into powdered form leads to aroma breakdown and flavor changes. As a result, our partners sometimes use a patented blend of ingredients from natural sources to restore and enhance the flavor.

This patented blend of "natural flavors" constitutes 1 to 2% of the total Re-Lyte preparation, and each individual component of this blend is even less, hence may not need to be individually listed on the label.

Our partners closely guard their formulations, which means we cannot share all the details that make Re-Lyte unique. We can share that the "natural flavors" in flavored Re-Lyte variants contain trace amounts of non-GMO corn maltodextrin.

In a non-scientific test using a glucometer, 2krazyketos found that flavored Re-Lyte recorded "lo," indicating that there was so little glucose that the glucometer could not detect it. In contrast, a cup of black coffee registered 38 milligrams of glucose per deciliter.

We understand concerns about corn maltodextrin, so we have produced Unflavored Re-Lyte and Re-Lyte Caps without this ingredient. They could be your choice if you want to avoid even trace amounts of corn due to allergy, low-carb lifestyle, or any other reason.

All Re-Lyte varieties do not contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) and high fructose corn syrup.

Why is ancient sea salt (Real Salt®) included in Re-Lyte products?

Real Salt supplements essential electrolytes, helping you perform better and defend against a range of issues, including fatigue.

One of the most important components of all our Re-Lyte products is our unrefined ancient sea salt, Real Salt®. We have included Real Salt in our Re-Lyte range because it is a healthy, natural source of electrolytes, especially sodium and chloride.

Sodium and chloride are two electrolytes you lose the most through sweat, even if you don't notice you're sweating. Real salt in our Re-Lyte products helps replenish these essential electrolytes and protect you from a range of issues that can arise when their levels are too low, including muscle cramps, headaches, fatigue, and even a dangerous condition called hyponatremia (also known as overhydration). Hyponatremia typically occurs when you lose large amounts of electrolytes through sweat and don't consume any electrolytes to replace what's lost.

Dehydration is not just a feeling of heat and thirst. It's caused by inadequate water and electrolyte intake (such as sodium and chloride) and is a major factor in fatigue. One research study found that women who were just one percent below optimal hydration felt tired and unfocused. Another study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that mild dehydration (caused by a fluid loss of 1–2% of body weight) could lead to significant reductions in mood, concentration, and cognitive performance.

Our Re-Lyte products provide a convenient and effective way to replenish these electrolytes and combat dehydration, especially after exercise or during hot weather.

Why are Re-Lyte flavored products flavored with natural flavors?

Thanks to natural fruit and other flavors, our flavored Re-Lyte products have a delightful taste.

Not everyone enjoys the salty taste of unflavored Re-Lyte, so we add a little something to our flavored Re-Lyte products to make them taste amazing. Our current recipes are the result of countless hours of experimenting, improving, and taste testing to create a blend that tastes great and meets our simple, pure, and genuine standards.

Our main flavors come from real fruits, including:

raspberries coconuts blackberries
strawberries mangoes oranges
pineapples melons peaches

In addition to these specific fruits, we also use the more general term "natural flavors" on Re-Lyte flavor labels.

Why? Dehydration of fruit and its conversion into powder form leads to the breakdown of aroma and changes in taste. As a result, flavor manufacturers often come up with patented blends of flavors from other natural sources to restore and complement the taste of dehydrated, powdered fruit.

These flavor factories carefully guard their recipes, which means we cannot share all the details that make Re-Lyte unique. We can say that we rejected initial Re-Lyte flavor recipes that were tasty but did not meet our standards.

We understand and share concerns about natural flavors in some products. In the case of Re-Lyte flavored products, natural flavors make up a very small percentage of the overall recipes. Because our Re-Lyte products are full of hydration electrolytes, vitamins, and minerals from quality natural sources, we consider them a pure and healthy product.

However, we are always looking for alternatives to further improve our products and make them accessible in terms of ingredient quality, price, and taste. For those who prefer no natural flavors, we recommend Re-Lyte unflavored or our Re-Lyte electrolyte capsules.

Why is stevia leaf extract used in Re-Lyte flavored products?

Stevia leaf extract is a natural zero-calorie sweetener that helps regulate blood sugar.

Stevia leaf extract is a natural sweetener we add to our Re-Lyte flavored products to give them the right sweetness. We chose stevia leaf extract over other natural sweeteners because it has low carbohydrate content, zero caloric value, and impressive health benefits.

Stevia leaf extract comes from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant, native to Paraguay and Brazil (although most stevia is now grown in China). While other sweeteners cause blood sugar spikes, research shows that stevia not only maintains stable blood sugar levels but can even lower them.

A 2009 study also found that stevia leaf extract may help lower cholesterol levels. Further research suggests it may also have favorable effects on blood pressure.

Re-Lyte flavored products contain rebaudioside A, a type of stevia leaf extract that is less bitter (and in our opinion, much tastier) than other stevia extracts. It's also one of the most common forms of stevia, meaning we have a solid collection of data proving its safety and effectiveness.

What type of magnesium do you use in Re-Lyte?

Re-Lyte contains a blend of 50/50 magnesium malate and magnesium glycinate.

Depending on whom you ask, there are seven to ten different types of magnesium supplements. They all have different properties; the best source of information on which is best for you and your situation is your doctor.

In preparing Re-Lyte, we chose to include a blend of 50/50 magnesium malate and magnesium glycinate because we wanted to take advantage of the benefits of both types:

Magnesium glycinate contains an amino acid (a protein building block) called glycine, which supports brain health, reduces stress, and lowers anxiety.

Magnesium malate helps maintain blood sugar balance. Additionally, it contains malic acid, an amino acid that supports muscle strength and recovery to help you overcome challenging workouts.

Both forms of magnesium in our blend are gentler on the stomach and better absorbed by the body, so you get the maximum benefit from every milligram of magnesium in Re-Lyte.

Do you test Re-Lyte products for the presence of contaminants?

All Redmond Life products are manufactured in top-notch facilities.

Redmond Company adheres to the same global standards with its partners and suppliers as we do in our food manufacturing plant, including careful screening for possible contamination.

Are Re-Lyte products gluten-free?

All Re-Lyte products contain gluten-free ingredients, but they are not certified as gluten-free.

Are Re-Lyte products certified kosher?

Re-Lyte products are not certified kosher.

However, Real Salt and Real Salt Seasoning are.

How much sodium is safe to consume per day?

There is no tolerable upper intake level (UL) set for sodium because the risk of toxicity is very low. The intake for reducing chronic disease risk (CDRR) is set at 2,300 mg per day.

At this time, there is no tolerable upper intake level (UL) set for sodium because there is very little evidence that sodium causes toxicity in healthy individuals even at very high doses.

It's apparent that there are certain concerns about the link between high sodium intake and chronic diseases such as blood pressure and heart problems, hence the intake level for reducing chronic disease risk is set at 2,300 mg per day.

However, most Americans are approaching 3,400 mg per day. And there are conflicting pieces of evidence on whether reducing sodium intake to 2,300 mg or less per day is beneficial for blood pressure and heart health. Some research suggests that excessive sodium reduction may actually have negative consequences.

Your daily sodium needs are also influenced by many individual factors. If you're extremely active, sweat a lot, or have health conditions causing vomiting or diarrhea, you'll need more sodium than the average Joe or Jane.

It's also important to consider the quality and source of sodium. Consuming a large amount of sodium from processed foods will be much worse for you than consuming sodium from whole mineral-rich salt.

Here are some resources to help you understand how to incorporate sodium healthily into your diet:

Re-Lyte products are popular among people living a keto lifestyle. They have low carbohydrate and calorie content and contain a variety of micronutrients to help you feel your best in ketosis.

Can I mix and store Re-Lyte in a metal container?

Most beverage metal containers are designed to resist corrosion caused by a combination of water and electrolytes.

Yes, you can store Re-Lyte in some metal containers, but it's best to avoid certain metal containers. Let's talk about how electrolytes interact with metals so you can make an informed decision when choosing a container.

Electrolytes combined with water or moisture cause some metals to exchange electrons with the electrolyte solution. This ion exchange can cause oxidation and corrosion - imagine rust or green patina on copper.

Fortunately, most beverage metal containers are specially constructed to be corrosion-resistant. This technology is similar to biologically safe metals used in medicine (bone pins, knees, hips, etc.). Since our body is literally saline (saltwater), it's important to use a metal properly designed for the body that doesn't corrode. Similarly, using a beverage container made of properly designed metal not only protects the container but also ensures that no undesirable colors, odors, or metals will mix with your Re-Lyte product.

So, what type of metal beverage container is considered safe for electrolyte drinks? We recommend looking for either stainless steel beverage containers or containers with stainless steel lining. If you want to be particularly cautious, look for containers made of 316 stainless steel, which is known for its exceptional resistance to salt.

If you want to completely avoid metal, there are also stylish water bottles with a glass insert that might be more your style. Just keep in mind that hydrated Re-Lyte or any other salt solution should never be stored in a cast iron or soft steel container, as they are very prone to corrosion in the presence of salt, water, and air.

What's the difference between coconut water powder, coconut powder, and coconut milk?

Most Re-Lyte products contain coconut water powder, which is rich in electrolytes and contains less than 1 gram of naturally occurring sugar per serving.

As you likely know, coconut is a large seed considered both a nut and a fruit. It consists of a hard outer shell, white fleshy meat, and sweet transparent water in the center.

  • Coconut water powder is coconut water that has been dried into a nutrient-rich powder. We've included coconut water powder in many of our Re-Lyte products because it's a healthy and effective natural hydration aid. It contains electrolytes magnesium, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus. And it's a great source of antioxidants, meaning it can help support a healthy level of inflammation in your body.
  • Coconut powder is made from dried ground coconut meat. Although it shares some of the same nutrients as coconut water, it is rich in carbohydrates and fats. Coconut powder is often used to make coconut milk or milk substitutes; however, it is not part of any Re-Lyte products.
  • Coconut milk is often confused with coconut water, but they are very different. While coconut water is naturally occurring, coconut milk is a processed byproduct of coconut. Although both contain similar nutrients, coconut milk is high in carbohydrates and calories due to its origin from coconut meat. None of our Re-Lyte products use coconut milk.

If you're looking for an option without coconut water powder due to allergies or other reasons, check out Unflavored Re-Lyte or Re-Lyte Hydration Support Capsules.

Can I drink Re-Lyte while fasting?

Rely on Re-Lyte Hydration to boost the electrolytes you need to feel good.

All other flavors contain less than 1 gram of naturally occurring sugar from coconut water powder.

American brand that owns several sub-brands such as Real Salt, Earth Powder, Redmond Clay, Earth Paste and others. But one thing they all have in common - they are two high-quality and 100% pure raw materials that Redmond specializes in extracting and processing. It's Redmond clay and Real Salt. These two ingredients form the basis of most of their products and work well on their own, of course. Redmond is mined in the rare high-desert Redmond region (as the brand name refers to) in Utah. These are some of the oldest deposits, making these raw materials uniquely pristine, untouched and unpolluted by modern harmful substances.
