Sonett 's Olive Wool and Silk Washing Gel - Sensitive is a premium detergent designed for washing delicate fabrics such as wool and silk. This product is ideal for hand washing and machine washing at temperatures up to 40 °C.

The special formula not only restores colour and smooths fibres, but is also very gentle on the skin, which is especially appreciated by people with sensitive skin or allergy-prone skin.

Special Product Features: Sonett Olive Wash Gel stands out thanks to its content of high quality pressed olive oil, which is processed into soap.

This soap base not only gives textiles excellent cleaning and conditioning properties, but also lubricates them afterwards, which is particularly beneficial for wool and silk.

The presence of sugar tenside makes the gel effective even in hard water, where it retains all its positive properties and is easy to use.

The origin and properties of the individual components:

• Olive soap: Made from the fruit of olives from organic olive groves in the Mediterranean, mainly in Italy, Spain and Greece. Olive oil obtained by pressing and centrifugation is a key raw material for fine soap with a subsequent lubricating effect. This oil has a balanced composition of fatty acids and has a positive effect on the heart and blood circulation.

• Canola oil soap: Rapeseed oil, soaped with potassium lye, contributes to the gel's cleaning capabilities. Cultivated organically in the mild climate of central Europe, rapeseed is one of the few oilseed crops grown for oil.

• Ethanol: Obtained from the fermentation of starchy plants such as corn and potatoes. Ethanol helps keep the soap in a liquid state and increases its ability to dissolve fats.

• Sugar wetting agent: Made from sugar, starch and coconut fat. This tenside helps keep the calcium soap that forms in hard water from dispersing finely, thus preventing buildup on laundry.

Biodegradability

Vegetable oil soap has the excellent property that immediately after use it combines with the calcium always contained in waste water to form calcium soap. This neutralises the active surface effect attacking living organisms (primary degradation) within a few hours. The calcium soap is then 100% degraded by microorganisms into carbon dioxide and water (secondary degradation). Ethanol can be mixed with water without limitation and is therefore reintegrated into the natural cycle within a few hours. In the process of making sugar wetting agents, the plant raw materials of starch, sugar and fat are extracted, but the parts remain fully preserved in their natural structure. It is therefore easy for micro-organisms to quickly and completely break down these wetting agents.

Use and dosage

• For 4.5 kg of laundry.
• Hand wash: 15-30 ml per 5 l water.
• Washing in the washing machine: pour 60-90 ml of the product into the appropriate container.
• Do not pour directly onto dry laundry.

Attention

At temperatures below 10 °C the product changes and somewhat it thickens and becomes cloudy, which disappears again with heat or after a slight shaking. Full the packaging is recyclable.
