North American Herb and Spice has been the world's leading producer of high quality natural nutritional supplements since the 1990s.
North American Herb & Spice (NAHS) was the first American company to introduce edible oregano oil to the local market in the 1990s. The founders of the herb wild oregano at that time studied it in detail and then personally tested it for many years and today they are considered experts. NAHS Oreganol P73 was studied at the prestigious Georgetown University in Washington for its effectiveness against yeast (candida albicans), and was found to be effective and safe for consumption. Oreganol P73 is produced by traditional cold pressing and steam distillation using mineral mountain water.
In addition to clove essential oil, oregano oil has the highest known ORAC value (300,000 per 100g) in the world. Did you know that oregano has 50 times more antioxidant activity than apples and 30 times more than potatoes? Oregano oil is known as the most powerful essential oil in the world!
HOW DOES OREGAULTRA DIFFER FROM OREGANOL P73?
OregaUltra is a superior type of dietary supplement - the most potent wild oregano oil with a proven PROVEN 84% carvacrol content. The herb from which the extract is obtained grows in the highest and most remote mountain areas, at altitudes of over 3000 metres above sea level. Nothing compares to its power and potency, which is why it is called ULTRA.
Carvacrol is the main key ingredient in wild oregano, which gives the herb its specific power as the world's most powerful anti-oxidant and antiseptic. In OregaULTRA you will find 22 additional active ingredients to maintain the synergy of the whole plant. Carvacrol is also a powerful antihistamine.
In nature, it is very difficult to isolate wild oregano oil with a carvacrol content above 80%, the maximum possible value is 84-85%. We dare say that the vast majority, if not all, manufacturers of wild oregano dietary supplements merely mimic this high content by adding synthetic carvacrol or adulterants. Oregano oils that claim to contain 88% or more carvacrol are undoubtedly fake and do not come from a natural source. Although they may say they are from the Mediterranean, they are likely to contain synthetic carvacrol of Chinese origin, which may be potentially toxic.
Another form of corruption is oregano grown on farms, where plants are cultivated from species with high carvacrol content, but it is never natural growth, rather artificial selection. True wild oregano simply cannot grow in ordinary dirt and have the same properties as an herb that grows directly from rocks containing critical minerals and vitamins. You cannot replicate this environment. You just can't.
WHAT IS WILD OREGANO OIL P73
Oregano oil is considered to be the world's most powerful natural antibiotic and antiseptic - it is an effective killer of parasites, viruses, bacteria, yeast and fungi. P73 indicates a high percentage of polyphenol content in this particular brand of oregano oil, the minimum being 65%. These are bactericidal phenols such as carvacrol (substances that kill harmful bacteria).
To be safe to consume, oregano oil must come from extracts of herbs that grow only in the wild and high mountain areas of the Mediterranean, in countries such as Turkey, Lebanon or, to a lesser extent, Greece. This is the only guarantee that it will be free of pesticides and modern chemicals. Because undiluted oregano oil is very strong and potentially dangerous, it should be emulsified in a carrier oil such as the extra virgin olive oil used by the NAHS brand.
Main components
Oregano oil P73 contains 3 main groups of substances:
1. Phenols
Natural carvacrol phenol - P73 has more than 65% carvacrol - the high content of this phenol indicates a quality oregano oil.
Thymol phenol - the content of this phenol in P73 is less than 5%. Oregano oils of poor quality usually contain a higher percentage of this ingredient, which can be problematic in higher concentrations.
Cuminaldehyde phenol - the main component in cumin oil, Cuminum cyminum. It is a natural aldehyde.
Terpenes are an essential component of essential oils. These are volatile fragrances contained in the leaves, fruits, flowers, rhizomes and roots of plants.
Pinen and terpinen
2. Alcohols
Linalool and bonreol - two long-chain alcohols found in oregano oil.
3. Esters
Esters are part of the fruit of plants and give them their specific aroma.
Linalyl acetate and geranyl acetate
How should I use it?
The manufacturer's recommended dosage is 2-3 drops per day under the tongue, which can also be called a so-called preventive dose. For specific higher dosages, it is advisable to consult a qualified person who knows your medical condition. Try to hold the oil under your tongue as long as possible until it dissolves naturally, then swallow. It is a very powerful oil and its potency is further enhanced when dropped on a spoon with honey (raw, organic) and swallowed. The oil is very aromatic and may give you a burning sensation in your mouth at first. This feeling is short-lived and will pass after a while as you get used to it.
The oil is recommended to be added to diffusers, vaporizers and atomizers for air disinfection.
CAUTION: Oil must not get into the eyes and genital area - it will sting and burn very badly. In this case, it should be washed thoroughly with water. Keep out of reach of childrenpTxtId4415 Do not drink alcohol for at least 3 hours after consumption, preferably not at all.

Wild oregano oil
A miracle called Oregano
The wild oregano plant, native to the Mediterranean mountains, was widely used in ancient Greece - its Greek name, oros ganos, literally means "mountain delight". This plant is completely superior in quality and effectiveness to the common oregano grown in Mexico or other countries.
The oregano plant is absolutely exceptional in its composition. NAHS employs collectors from local villages who collect the herbs by hand in areas that lie at an altitude of nearly 4 km, where they grow freely on the mineral-rich, rocky soil. NAHS encourages limited collection to preserve and protect these rare herbs. It is this soil that makes the local oregano an exceptional antioxidant.
