Dried Siberian chaga tea - Chag-O-Charge
Chag-O-Charge is an original tea made from RAW wild Siberian chaga, enriched with birch bark, on which it grows naturally. For an extra adaptogenic 'kick ', this tea also contains ground Peruvian maca root.
This tea is literally an antioxidant and adaptogen bomb. It is there for all those who want to slow down the aging process, strengthen the immunity and digestive system, improve the condition of the skin and feel better mentally - chaga and maca are powerful adaptogens. The wild vital chaga mushroom is a rich source of nutrients including B vitamins, beta glucan, minerals, sterols and enzymes. As far as enzymes are concerned, the chaga mushroom is extremely rich in the enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD), which is considered one of the best super-oxidants in the world.
What does the chaga mushroom represent to you?
In Chag-O-Charge Chaga Tea you will find the vital chaga mushroom, which has grown on birch trees in the original harsh climatic conditions of Siberia, has reached a minimum age of twenty years, i.e. it has 'matured', and has subsequently undergone a sensitive treatment during production. It is quite logical that when a mushroom has to fight with large temperature fluctuations, it produces an extraordinary amount of adaptogens to fight stress. The quality is also influenced by the time of harvest. Harvesting takes place from July to mid-November. Chaga grows from 2.5 to 7.5 metres high, which makes harvesting very difficult. To collect 10 kg of chaga, around 1500 birch trees in the local impermeable forests need to be explored. Mushrooms growing long enough in optimal conditions can weigh over 10 kilograms.
Wild chaga is the richest known source of the most important antioxidant enzyme that protects body tissues, SOD (superoxide dismutase). It is also a rich source of melanin, beta glucan, immune potentiator, biological sterols, vitamin D2 and rare trace minerals. These rare trace minerals include rubidium, caesium and germanium. This makes wild chaga an ideal food supplement for anti-aging and skin care, and for supporting the proper function of the entire body. It is therefore an optimal daily adaptogen.
Usage:
Pour an aligned teaspoon of Chag-o-Charge chag tea into a liter kettle with boiling water. For best results, allow the drink to infuse for 48 hours. Then mix, for example, with warm milk or strain the decoction. Drink hot or cold; sweetened or unsweetened. If you don't lye for 48 hours, you can use the chag lye again at least 3 more times. Be careful not to let the leachate mould in this case - it must be kept in the air to allow it to air out and re-dry. If you leave it in a teapot or mug, it will remain moist and mouldy.

Chaga (Chaga)
Latin: Inonotus obliquus Czech: Inonotus obliquus
Chaga - Chaga is a wood-destroying fungus of the leathery family. It grows most often on birch trees, but less frequently on other deciduous trees in northern Europe, Russia and in colder areas of Asia and North America. In traditional medicine in Russia and has been used since the 16th century, in Asia it has been used for several thousand years. The first references to chaga healing come from the northern regions of China. Its use then spread westwards to Siberia and the Urals where chaga was drunk daily as a tea. The researchers found that there was a very low incidence of cancer among the population in these areas, and stomach diseases were virtually non-existent. Many people in these Siberian areas who drank chaga daily often lived to be around 100 years old.
Chaga contains more than 200 different biologically active substances. In terms of pharmacological effects, the most important are polysaccharides, polyphenolic substances and triterpenoids of the lanostane type. Among the polysaccharides, these are mainly beta-glucans and heteroglucans, and among the triterpenes, inotodiol, obliquol, betulin and betulinic acid (which the Chaga fungus obtains from the host birch tree). Furthermore, the mushroom contains sesquiterpenes, sterols, lipids and alkaloids. Chaga contains a high amount of melanin, the pigment that contributes to its colour.
