Cocoa powder in Power Cacao chocolate comes from Peru. NoordCode has chosen to preserve polyphenols as much as possible and minimise the risk of mould during processing.
Maximum preservation of polyphenols due to minimal processing
Cocoa beans are naturally rich in polyphenols and other beneficial substances. The usual processing of cocoa beans into cocoa powder reduces the amount of polyphenols. In particular, when cocoa is roasted and alkalinised, many polyphenols are lost.
NoordCode has opted for maximum preservation of polyphenols by not roasting or alkalizing the cocoa. As a result, the cocoa retains its natural flavour profile, which differs significantly from "regular" cocoa powder.
Raw cacao has a lighter colour and a bitterer taste that comes from polyphenols. Cocoa also has a sour taste because it is not alkalized. All this together gives the cocoa powder more depth and a unique flavour.
Concentrated mushroom extracts from mushroom KÄÄÄPÄ

Organic Peruvian gelatinised maca
The organic maca we used to make Power Cacao is also high quality. Traditionally cultivated maca from the Peruvian Andes is known as the best maca root on the market. It is gelatinised to make it easier to digest. Because it is gelatinised, it has a lower starch content.
Enriched with inulin, cinnamon and vanilla

How to use
Cocoa drink:
Mix 15 g (2 tablespoons) with 200 ml of liquid of your choice.
Enhanced biohacker's choco smoothie:
