About Reishi mushroom

Mushrooms For Life supplies truly the highest organic quality reishi spores from the Lonquan region, the traditional home of Chinese reishi. These are then crushed at a low temperature so that the highest concentration of triterpenes is maintained (in the spores of the mushroom their content is at least 6%, but only 3% in the reishi mushroom itself).

Reishi spores are obtained from certified organic reishi mushrooms, which are grown in China on special hardwood logs/logs called. Duanwood, sunk into the ground and protected by tunnel roofing to keep the spores protected from the outside elements. The spores are crushed using pressure and sound vibrations that break down the hard cell walls so that our body is able to use the nutrients found inside.

The reishi spores can be thought of as the kind of pollen that the mushroom uses to reproduce, so it is actually the so-called jing or essence of life of the mushroom. These reproductive particles are characterized by their high concentration of triterpenes and polysaccharides, which have a strong positive effect on our body.

About the Cordyceps mushroom

In this supplement you will find a special, selected strain of cordyceps, Ophiocordyceps Sinensis, which is grown under nature-identical conditions that ensure high levels of cordyceps acid and related nucleoside derivatives.

The mushroom that Mushrooms For Life uses for this product is derived from the authentic wild Ophiocordyceps sinensis mushroom, collected in Tibet, and further hybridized with other strains of Cordyceps to give the manufacturer the highest quality form of this rare mushroom - bioavailable with an exceptionally high content of Cordyceps acid and other related nucleoside derivatives.

This mushroom was grown in the USA on a sterile organic sorghum (sorghum) grain substrate in an FDA inspected facility. Fungal biomass contains a full spectrum of active metabolites from the mycelium and young fruiting bodies of fungi, including beta-glucans, other intracellular and extracellular polysaccharides, nucleoside derivatives (cordycepsic acid, etc.), phytosterols (including ergosterol - provitamin D2), proteoglycans and enzymes.

The levels of nucleoside derivatives are further increased by the addition of a highly concentrated hot-water extract of Cordyceps militaris.

In its natural habitat, the Cordyceps fungus parasitises insect larvae. Because it is located in extreme conditions such as the Himalayan plateaus, it is extremely difficult and expensive to obtain.
