Washing gel
It contains mainly vegetable detergents and stabilizers such as water, glycerin and enzymes for stain removal. Natural fabric softeners and pH regulators promote gentle washing without affecting the laundry. Minerals (e.g. sodium chloride) ensure the stability of the gel, while the plant perfume gives a fresh scent.
Laundry soap
It contains vegetable detergents such as sodium cocoa tree and Sapindus mukorossi to effectively clean laundry, and mineral stabilizers sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride for better washing performance. A botanical perfume with limonene and citral adds freshness, while glycerin soothes the skin. Caprylyl/Capryl glucoside and sodium citrate promote stability and washing efficiency.

What makes the scent of Soaply products so unique
All Soaply fragrances are 100% natural, the company does not use synthetic perfumes. These are chemicals that impart fragrance. Synthetic fragrances are made in a laboratory and are often derived from petroleum.
Why my laundry doesn't smell fresh
It's unfortunate that your laundry smells different than you expected! Apart from personal preferences regarding scents, there is also a difference in scent between regular detergents and Soaply. We use only natural ingredients and fragrances. These natural scents are less intense and fade more quickly. We are constantly working to improve our products, keeping in mind our principles regarding the origin of ingredients and the impact on people and nature. If you wash at low temperatures, residue may remain in your washing machine.
It is therefore recommended to run the washing machine on the highest temperature every 2 to 3 months, or to clean the washing machine with vinegar. It is most ideal to use eco-friendly detergents to wash your washing machine.
How do Soaply Wash Nuts work?
All Soaply products use Sapindus mukorossi fruit shells. These contain a natural form of soap called saponin. When they come into contact with water in the washing machine, they spontaneously release this soap!
Technically speaking, a saponin molecule has a water-loving part and a fat-loving part. The saponin binds to the dirt and water at the same time, allowing the dirt to be rinsed away. Saponin also reduces the surface tension of the water, making the removal of dirt even more effective.

In March 2013, Dutch students Melvin and Jasper witnessed the production of natural soap in Nepal using fruit shells. These sapindus shells contain saponin, a natural form of soap that is activated in water.
Driven by this inspiration, Melvin and Jasper teamed up with Nepali shellfish grower Hari and decided to combine their student loans to bring their first shipment to the Netherlands. They believed they could bring joy to people through a great product while improving working and living conditions in Nepal.
Today, Soaply is available in online shops and brick-and-mortar stores throughout the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Spain and even South Korea. How did it all start?

What does it look like in practice?
The secret and functionality of soap is that soap, like everything else on this earth, is made up of very small particles, also called molecules. One side of this soap molecule repels water, just like a grease stain.
The other side is water-loving. One side of the soap molecule adheres to the grease stain, while the other side targets the water. This way, the soap creates a bridge between the water and the grease and allows the stain to soak out of the clothes.
Soaply uses the shells of Sapindus mukurossi fruits in all its products. These contain a natural form of soap called saponin. In your case, these molecules then come into contact with water and spontaneously release the soap.
What are the benefits of using natural ingredients in soaps?
- Gentle on the skin: natural soaps made from high-quality vegetable oils are rich in glycerin, which nourishes and softens the skin. The balanced ratio of saponified and unsaponified oils ensures that the skin will not be dry after use.

- Natural scents and colours: natural soaps are scented only with quality essential oils and coloured with natural pigments such as mineral clays, plant extracts and powders. The resulting soaps thus have a rich colour and a pleasant scent.

Is Soaply vegan and not tested on animals?
