V roce 2014 Zinzino získal 85% podíl v norské společnosti Faun Pharma AS s plně vybavenou, moderní výrobnou a cennými zkušenostmi s vývojem zdravotních přípravků, potravinových doplňků a kosmetiky. Šlo o zbrusu nové zařízení, kde začalo Zinzino zkoumat, vyvíjet a vyrábět nové produkty – efektivně a velmi kvalitně. Proč je vyvážený poměr omega-3 a omega-6 tak důležitý?
Omega-3 mastné kyseliny s dlouhým řetězcem je souhrnné označení pro skupinu polynenasycených mastných kyselin (EPA, DHA). Omega-3 mastné kyseliny si lidské tělo nedokáže vyrobit samo, a proto je musíme dodávat jako součást stravy. Doplnit esenciální omega 3 (EPA, DHA) do správného poměru - omega 6 : omega 3 (3:1), je však v dnešní době takřka nemožné kvůli nedostatečnému příjmu čerstvých tučných ryb a vzhledem ke stále se zvyšující konzumaci průmyslově zpracovaných potravin. Z toho důvodu se 95% Evropanů nepodaří dostat jen s pomocí stravy na poměr omega3 a omega6 3:1. Pro vyvážení této nerovnováhy je vhodné Omega 3 suplementovat.
Nerovnováha omega 6 a omega 3 ovlivňuje tělo i mysl. Jejich vyvážený poměr je důležitý pro řady tělesných procesů a funkcí.
