Plant Based Wipes - Aloe Vera with aloe vera and chamomile - 56 pcs

Why buy
Natural and 100% biodegradable baby wet wipes with soothing herbal extracts from Jackson Reece are plastic-free, unbleached with chlorine or other chemical bleaches. Virtually the only one of its kind on the market. They are made from compostable wood pulp (fully decomposable in 60 days) and are packaged in 100% recyclable packaging.
Conventional wet wipes are usually a complete set made of plastic, infused with synthetic substances. Which is something you definitely don't want on your children's sensitive skin. What's more, these plastic wet wipes take up to 450 years to completely decompose in nature.
Along with disposable nappies, wet wipes are one of the biggest polluters of the environment.
Why Jackson Reece
Jackson Reece can therefore be considered the most environmentally friendly baby wipes on the planet. They are infused with soothing extracts of organic chamomile and aloe vera, which are also anti-inflammatory and will leave your little ones' sensitive skin beautifully hydrated. They also give the wipes a delicate and unobtrusive herbal scent.
The wipes have a 99% vegetable composition and are of course not tested on animals. They are therefore also suitable for vegans. They do not contain any alcohol, added artificial or natural perfumes (they smell mildly only due to the natural extracts contained), parabens, SLS, SLES, lanolin, phthalates, phenoxyethanol or benzoates.
They are suitable for sensitive skin, have a balanced pH, are dermatologically tested and approved by paediatricians. These are the only wet wipes on the market that do not contain the allergenic ingredient sodium benzoate.
Sodium benzoate is the sodium salt of benzoic acid, occurring in the form of a white powder and is readily soluble in water. It is used as a preservative, mainly in acidic environments where it prevents the growth of moulds and yeasts. Although it is approved for use in organic cosmetics, unfortunately it can trigger or worsen symptoms in sensitive people or people with chronic asthma and urticaria.
It should not be present at all in children's products that are used on sensitive and irritated skin such as the buttocks or cheeks. Yet it's in all brands of wet wipes, even those that claim to be clean and organic. Jackson Reece is really the only brand we have found in Europe that does not contain sodium benzoate.
What's more, they are made entirely in the UK, which not only keeps the carbon footprint to a minimum by eliminating the import of packaging materials and other manufacturing processes, but also supports a small family business that really puts the maximum into the production of its products.
Their quality is confirmed by the many awards these baby wipes have received.
Usage:
It's great to always have wipes on hand, for example in your handbag or bag, so you can use them whenever you need them. They are a great companion when travelling and going on trips, or even at parties. Don't forget to pack them in your first aid kit or your children's school bag.

The British brand Jackson Reece is named after the two sons of its founders - Jackson and Reece. It is really a small family company, but it has managed to make a name for itself all over the world and has won repeated first places in competitions that evaluate products for children. The idea for the brand gradually came about at a time when the founders had a son, Jackson, who was diagnosed with childhood eczema at just a few months old and prescribed a steroid cream, which of course, paradoxically, made his problems worse. His parents tried virtually every means available to bring their son at least some relief. In the end, they ended up with expensive and hard to find natural treatments.
After years of careful research into baby cosmetics, they concluded that these problems were mainly caused by the ingredients that most major baby cosmetic brands add to their products. The moment their second son, Reece, was born and started having similar skin problems, they decided to start their own brand with the most commonly used baby products. They affectionately named their small family business after their two sons - Jackson Reece.
Jackson Reece napkins and tissues are 100% degradable and their packaging is 100% recyclable. Conventional wet wipes are one of the biggest plastic polluters on the planet, along with disposable nappies. By using these compostable wipes, you will also be making a noticeable difference to the environment. In addition, their production takes place entirely in the UK. Thanks to local production, the carbon footprint is really reduced to a minimum.
In their composition you will not find:

- parabens
- chlorine
- SLS and SLES
- lanolin
- benzoates
- phthalates

- propylene
- glycol
- phenoxyethanol
- triclosan
What Jackson Reece products contain:
Compostable wood pulp - sourced from sustainable European forests. This is the waste that is produced in the manufacture of furniture. Thanks to state-of-the-art recycling techniques, this material can still be used and transformed into a super soft, non-woven fabric, free of plastic and soft enough for sensitive baby skin. This also makes the wipes 100% biodegradable and you can even compost them. In nature, it decomposes in 60 days - unlike conventional polyester wipes, which can take up to 500 years to decompose.
Purified and deionized water - pharmaceutical grade, so it is perfectly purified from any bacteria.
Botanical ingredients - such as hydrating aloe vera, antibacterial tea tree oil, soothing chamomile, nourishing almond oil or fragrant ylang-ylang.
Preservative - All water-based products need a preservative system to prevent mould and bacteria from growing in them. Potassium sorbate acts as a preservative in Jackson Reece products. Although it is an artificial preservative, it is food grade, which means you could practically eat it safely. In theory, however, we don't recommend it because it probably wouldn't taste very good. It is a safe and non-irritating alternative to the commonly used phenoxyethanol or benzalkonium chloride. Moreover, it is represented in the composition by only one percent.
All ingredients used have been carefully selected in consultation with paediatricians and experts in eczema and other skin diseases.
