A little about the Soaply brand itself

Soaply makes detergents and cleaning products from 99% natural ingredients, without unnecessary fossil fuels. For example, the shells of Sapindus mukorossi fruits, which grow abundantly on trees in Nepal and produce a natural form of soaps.

It started in March 2013, when Dutch students Melvin and Jasper saw on TV how people in Nepal were making natural soap from the shells of berries. Sapindus shells contain saponin, a natural form of soap that is released when the shells come into contact with water. Melvin and Jasper saw an opportunity to make people happy with a great product while improving working and living conditions in Nepal, so they pooled their student loans to ship their first shipment of shells to the Netherlands.
