Organic Cordyceps is a 100% extract from the fruit of Cordyceps militaris carefully cultivated in JiangSu and Fujian provinces under nature-identical conditions on organic rice to provide a profile equivalent to its wild-growing counterpart.

It is extracted with hot water (extract ratio up to 12:1) to release and concentrate its polysaccharides and cordycepin. It contains at least 30% beta glucans and 0.2% cordycepin.

It is grown for 120 days versus the standard 30 days, which depletes the substrate and provides a more concentrated profile of beta-glucans and other key compounds. Includes:

Cultivation of Cordyceps

Moreover, overharvesting in recent years has caused the almost total disappearance of this rare medicinal mushroom.

Scientists have therefore investigated how to reproduce the Cordyceps mushroom in a sustainable way. They have found that growing cordyceps on sterilised organic cereal substrates such as sorghum and in nature-identical conditions preserves the full range of necessary active nutrients and produces sustainable yields - because the demand for quality cordyceps is huge.
