EVOO Bio La Estaca "esencia de montaña" is a bio extra virgin olive oil, monovarietal Picual, with the designation of origin Sierra Mágina and EU certification for organic farming. It is grown high in the mountains, as evidenced by its nickname "essence of the mountains".

It is a gourmet and organic extra virgin olive oil, harvested annually in November, with intense organoleptic properties and a high content of antioxidants (polyphenols): properties determined by the Picual variety and altitude.

Thanks to this high content of antioxidants, Bio La Estaca EVOO "esencia de montaña" retains its properties for a long time and benefits our health.

OIL PRODUCTION PROCESS LA ESTACA

The process of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) Bio La Estaca "esencia de montaña" begins in the field in November, when the olives are at their optimum state of ripeness.

Only olives from the tree are used for harvesting (they are picked in flight), which are carefully selected, cleaned to prevent their deterioration and delivered to the oil mill as soon as possible after harvesting.

Once in the mill, the fruit is ground in less than 24 hours to prevent any deterioration in the quality of the organic olive oil. The extracted olive oil is stored in stainless steel tanks for optimal preservation.

Thanks to its processing characteristics, EVOO Bio La Estaca "esencia de montaña" enjoys excellent quality because it does not use treatments such as refining or blending, which lose the excellent properties that only extra virgin olive oil has.

The environmentally friendly production of organic extra virgin olive oil guarantees 100% respect for the environment due to the absolute respect for natural products during cultivation and therefore without chemical products.
