INCOGNITO History

The exclusive brand Incognito^® was created after both co-founders personally experienced the disadvantages of using synthetic insect repellents.

Howard contracted malaria and subsequently dengue fever within one year (in Thailand and India) despite using DEET repellent and taking antimalarials.

Patricia found herself on a trip in South America, where she refused to use the chemical repellent DEET due to a lack of water treatment facilities in the Amazon where she was staying and the beauty of nature, which she found too beautiful to use a toxic substance. However, the natural repellent she brought with her was not effective enough.

As a result of these experiences, they founded Incognito^® with the aim of creating a natural insect repellent that would be truly effective and would not harm the user or the environment. Incognito^® acts as camouflage, making a person invisible to mosquitoes.

Howard and Patricia decided to create a repellent that is 100% natural, vegan, not tested on animals, and suitable for children from 3 months.

Incognito products use highly effective natural insect repellent - Java citronella and do not contain the toxic pesticide DEET, ensuring they have no negative impact on human health, aquatic organisms, or mammalian nervous systems.

The brand also focuses on environmentally friendly and ethical production, minimizing packaging, and using renewable resources, such as sugarcane for bottle and tube production.

INCOGNITO Standards

In 2010, the company switched to plastic from renewable sources made from sugarcane, and all packaging of their natural biocide was exchanged for plastic from renewable sources.

All major product lines are compatible with this form of packaging. They use biodegradable natural ingredients that do not pollute the planet, and sugarcane material is recyclable in most households.

Since starting trading in 2007, Incognito^® has displaced or prevented the entry of approximately 250,000 liters of DEET into the environment and its pollution.
