Hunter & Gather was founded by a British couple - Amy, a lifelong sufferer of celiac disease, and Jeff, a self-described experimenter with different approaches to healthy eating. The company's philosophy is to create healthy, nutritious and maximum quality products. All of this, of course, with respect for the environment and maximum transparency towards customers. They base their products on healthy fats such as avocado, coconut, ghee, tallow and butter produced by free-ranging cattle. On the other hand, you will not find any gluten or added sugar in the products. Whether you're vegan, celiac, paleo enthusiast, a keto or low carb dieter, or eating a sugar or dairy free diet, Hunter & Gather has the right product for you.

We use only the finest ingredients so our products are of the best quality. We carefully source, test and continuously taste test our range. We choose to give the individual ingredients the opportunity to shine on their own, and therefore openly embrace a "less is more" philosophy that keeps our formulations completely pure and free of any fillers or unnecessary extras.
Care for the environment
We believe in business being a change for the better and that businesses have a duty to the environment in which they operate. For this reason, we actively reduce the use of plastics. We use only glass or compostable packaging, pay a fair price for our ingredients, and work with like-minded farmer cooperatives that provide support and education to avocado farmers and their families in Kenya.

Why the name Hunter & Gather?
It's not just a tribute to the days of hunter-gatherers, when real, nutrient-rich food was crucial to our evolution. The name Hunter & Gather is also closely related to the lineage of Amy and Jeff. Amy's birth name is Hunt and Jeff's birth name is Gathergood. They say some things are meant to be...
Who is Amy?
Amy is a long-time celiac, and was diagnosed with this condition at the infant age of 18 months, after completing a 6-month food study plus countless hospital visits. These hardships later turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as they taught Amy to fully appreciate the impact food has on her optimal health and how to cook real meals from basic ingredients. A favorite product of Amy's from Hunter & Gather is the extra virgin avocado oil, which she uses not only for cooking but also for beauty (it's a great facial moisturizer and hair balm). Her perfect dinner is a cauliflower risotto with prawns, topped with avocado oil and garlic.
Who is Jeff?
Jeff is an experimenter with an insatiable appetite to try and develop new things and question established norms. His unwavering commitment to constantly challenge established habits and norms helps explain why the Hunter & Gather brand remains at the forefront of the UK's healthier living movement. Jeff saw a huge change in his personal life when he adopted a real food eating policy, started sleeping well and long, exercising and moving, and stopped using social media in the evening. Jeff's favorite Hunter & Gather product is the avocado mayo because it really pushes the boundaries of clean eating options and tastes amazing! The perfect dinner for him is a juicy free-range steak accompanied only by avocado mayonnaise.
