Sonett bleach and stain remover is the ideal choice for bleaching white linen and removing stains from white and coloured linen. This product effectively prevents the greying of white linen and is suitable for all types of fabrics except silk, wool and microfibres.

It achieves optimal results from 50 °C, while at lower temperatures it is recommended to pre-soak the laundry. It can also be used in the dishwasher to remove coffee stains from porcelain.

The main active ingredient in this product is sodium percarbonate, which is a compound of hydrogen peroxide with sodium carbonate (soda). When exposed to heat from 50 °C, hydrogen peroxide is released and decomposes into water and active oxygen.

This reaction intensifies with increasing temperature, ensuring optimum bleaching effect and removal of organic stains such as grass or fruit stains. Oxygen oxidizes dyes, de-colours them and converts the adhering substances into soluble forms.

Biodegradability

Sodium percarbonate already occurs during washing and bleaching itself breaks down into mineral soda, water and oxygen, leaving the washing machine in a state that in any case does not require further decomposition. That is, the process bleaching is also a process of degradation.

Use and dosage

Dosage: Washing machine: add 60 g of bleach to the detergent.

Soaking: 30 g of product per 3 l of warm water.

Dishwasher: add 10 g of bleach to the dishwasher powder.
