Dried coconut cream - 76% pro vaření, pečení, do kávy - 200 g, 1 kg
Dried coconut cream with an organic two-ingredient formula is a great instant alternative to regular cream. Its dried form is a huge advantage for travel and everyday use in the kitchen.
Ceylon Kokonati 's organic desiccated coconut cream is made from the freshly grated pulp of ripe coconuts. The finely grated coconut is then mixed with filtered hot water and strained. It is then mixed with organic rice flour dextrose and dried into a powder.
Coconut cream powder can be used as a practical and storable dairy-free alternative. It is great not only for lactose intolerant or vegans, but also for all those who want to lighten their diet or experiment in the kitchen.
Dried coconut cream is excellent for storage and is great for travel, trips or hikes because it is very light compared to canned coconut cream.
Tips on how to use dried cream in your kitchen
- Simply whisk it in warm or hot water to the desired consistency and you can use it as a classic cream for cooking, baking, etc. The mixing ratio is 1 to 6 tablespoons (15 g) of desiccated coconut cream for every 6 tablespoons (72 ml) of warm water. You can adjust the ratio to suit your desired thickness by simply adding more water to make a lighter coconut cream, or add less water for a thicker version.
- Dried coconut cream can be added to smoothies, bulletproof coffee, hot chocolate or black tea.
- It adds an exotic flavour to sauces, curries or soups.
- It is perfect for morning porridge or for topping cereals.
- You can mix it into hot and cold drinks.
- Or whip it into a creamy ice cream.
Do you use coconut milk or cream only in small quantities, for example in coffee, and rarely use the whole can? The dried alternative is right for you.
The cream has a delicious coconut taste and aroma. Depending on the harvest and the season, each batch may vary in colour and to a lesser extent in taste, as it is a natural product without any synthetic substances, refining, additives or preservatives.
Coconuts are high in fibre, so if you are just starting out with this dairy-free alternative, it's best to increase your intake gradually so that your gut slowly gets used to it and adapts.
Benefits of coconut milk
- Naturally rich in saturated fats, especially short- and medium-chain fatty acids (MCTs). MCTs are not usually stored by the body as fats. Instead, it metabolizes them into instant energy. Almost a quarter of a serving of coconut milk is made up of MCTs, primarily lauric acid.
- Lauric acid is important for normal immune system function, brain development and normal bone health. Apart from breast milk, coconuts are the richest source of this acid.
- Coconut palms grow in rich volcanic soil, which contributes to the high mineral content, especially iron, in coconuts. This means that your body can absorb up to 22% of the recommended daily dose of coconut milk.
- In addition to MCTs and minerals, it also contains antioxidants that help protect the body's cells from free radical damage.
- Coconut milk promotes normal bowel function and is beneficial for stomach ulcers and gastric acid reflux.
- It has a relaxing effect - it helps to relax muscles and nerves.

What is single origin or "single origin"?
This claim means that the raw material comes from one geographical area(as opposed to raw materials taken from several countries around the world and then mixed together = a common practice for cheap products from so-called private labels).
The fact that Ceylon Kokonati's ingredients/products are "single origin" from Sri Lanka only, means that the consumer's taste buds have a more consistent experience, from batch to batch. It is almost impossible to achieve an absolutely consistent taste without losing the natural flavour of the raw material. This is especially the case when the raw material for the production of a product is sourced from different places and of different quality.

The Ceilon Kokonati brand was established in 2013. In its range you can find a variety of high quality and affordable products made from sustainably produced coconuts, spices and tropical fruits.
The brand's name refers to the country that its founders consider home, Ceylon, Sri Lanka, where the coconuts for the coconut line of products are grown and processed. Ceylon, a British Crown Colony from 1815-1948, is now known as Sri Lanka, but the founders of the brand prefer to call it Ceylon because it definitely sounds more exotic and "pure Ceylon" is a brand in itself, reminiscent of the fresh unique essence of pure Ceylon tea. "Kokonati" on the other hand is Maori for coconut, so absolutely the most appropriate brand name for the most coconutty goodness ever.
The Ceilon Kokonati brand is run by a married couple. The female founding half is Mrs. Bûmika, which means Lady of the Earth in Sanskrit. Her great-grandfather was one of the pioneers of coconut oil pressing in Ceylon, making her the fourth generation of coconut oil presser. The male founding half, Mr. Mosqi, in turn, is originally a pure Ceylon tea grower.
Ceylon Kokonati is wholly owned and operated in New Zealand. Loose products from Kokonati uses several ethical brands that produce clean, organic food and beauty products. By selling Kokonati products, rural communities and traditional livelihoods are supported. All their products are ethically harvested and there is almost no waste in their production. Each part of the coconut is used in the production of a different product. Kokonati products are single-ingredient, packaged directly at the source, never mixed, single-species, non-GMO and vegan.
With a passion for organic, regenerative farming, sustainability and collective partnerships, Kokonati products come only from small farms and mills in rural villages in Sri Lanka. Each Kokonati product is produced in a specialized mill that produces only that type of product. Quality is therefore the best it can be, and every step of production is backed by the experience and knowledge of many generations. Ceylon is blessed with an abundance of healthy, exotic fruits, nuts, herbs and spices.
Ceylon Kokonati follows the principles of balanced living - live and let live.
