The German Society for Nutrition (DGE) - in its recommendations D-A-CH Referenzwerte states for DHA/EPA:

• 0-6 months: sufficient intake through breast milk

• 10+ years: 250 - 500 mg per day
• Pregnant and breastfeeding: 300 - 500 mg per day (minimum 200 mg DHA)

This will increase the bioavailability of these acids many times over.

What distinguishes ALGENKRAFT?

The body can only produce very small amounts of EPA and DHA on its own⁶. ALGENKRAFT is therefore generously dosed: each daily dose (2 capsules) provides 300 mg of DHA and 150 mg of EPA.

The amount is chosen so that pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers are well "protected" - the DGE recommends at least 200 mg of DHA per day for them^⁷.
